The Eyes Have It

The EYES have it. Sixteen days old and our new litter of puppies have revealed the portal to their souls. Well, all but Falcon… (8th pic) He thought it was rude of us to interrupt his nap for a photo shoot.

The development of a puppy is really quite extraordinary. Think about it; they were born blind, deaf, unable to regulate their own temperature, and a bit over two weeks later they are attempting to sit and crawl and they are uttering the sweetest little barks! Which, is also quite curious since they cannot hear, yet. Little miracles made of pure love energy.

This is a precious litter of eight, but I’m adding a 9th picture. it is a repeat of Lark because she was a star during the puppy-wrangling, try-to-get-him-to-face-the-lens, turn-her-around-again, oh-dang-the-camera-didn’t focus-in-time experience.
