Lovely

After offering the few remaining apples on the tree in the corridor to the wildlife, I learned that birds (specifically Rose-breasted Grosbeaks) were taking advantage of the fruits until eventually, the apples were no more. I hung new apples on clothes hanger wires and captured a cute House Finch couple snacking.

Yesterday, apples were nearly spent, but a lovely, female Rose-breasted Grosbeak stopped by for a quick bite.

Today, I replenished the apples – including one that I cored on the side and smeared almond butter in the hole. I hope we’ll get more visitors!

Here are the images from yesterday of the lovely, chunky bird.
