What The Duck?

This single duck was near the edge of our pond, so I took a few photos to help identify the species.

What I wasn’t expecting was to see the bullfrog staring down the duck just off shore. Who cares what species the duck might be, what sort of amphibian has a head nearly the size of the fowl’s head?
