The White-breasted Nuthatch
This is a little bird with a pretty big song. I hear it quite often when I’m near the larger stand of mature trees. However, I have only captured one, poor image of it several years ago.
When I was sitting quietly by the Bluebird house, yesterday, I noticed a tiny bit of movement on a large tree about 60 feet away.
It was a White-breasted Nuthatch. I was able to catch this short video clip!
Nice shots! Nuthatches are pretty quick. I had one in front of me the other day, and it was doing circles around a tree not 10 feet from me. I shot about 20 frames, one in focus!
