Bluebirds

The Bluebird couples in Birdhouse R and S, on the East side of our property, have fledged their chicks! Yesterday, I saw a male Bluebird in the tree that sits quite close to House R, so I suspect that he and his mate are considering using the same house for their second brood. There’s no way of knowing for certain, but last a pair used House R for at least two, and I suspect three different broods. Perhaps, this is that same pair!

Yesterday, I discovered a pair of Bluebirds feeding chicks in an old, wooden box just off the alley in about the center of our property. The lighting was just right to get some photos of this lovely bird.
