There is no other species that even comes close to dog. They adjust to our human world better than some humans do! They learn to listen to our gibberish and pick out the meaningful information as they strive to form a partnership that can be seen as unequaled in the human-human world. They ache to please us in order to remain as cherished members of our pack.

Their primary sense is one we hardly use. Our primary mode of communication doesn’t even come up on radar as relevant dog-dog conversation.

We can trust them with our kids. If we raise them right, they quickly learn to respect our boundaries and they come naturally motivated to potty outside the boundaries of our homes.

They do their part.
They do it in spades.

It only makes common sense to honor and respect our dogs for their oft unbelievable brilliance.

Your dog entered your life with the capacity to become kindred with you. If you put in half the amount of effort to understand and know him as he does the same for you, the value of the relationship you could build is limitless.
