Wow!

Yesterday, during a full sun – but pretty chilly day – I observed many Tree Swallows. I was fortunate to captured their amazing flight and relationships on film.

These images turned out very interesting, not just because of the incredible subject matter. The nest box that the swallows were soaring around and landing on was positioned on a pole that is in front of a white, metal pole barn. That backdrop ended up making these photos really pop. Who knew?
