The Yellow Breasted Chat
For several years I heard the song of the Yellow Breasted Chat when I was around our pond. But, I never got a glimpse of the bird.
Last year, for the first time, I was able to film a Chat.
Earlier this week, I heard and then saw the species again! And, this time, he made himself quite obvious in good light (mostly) and I was able to get this video and photos.
Good for you! The chat has driven me crazy. I hear it, Merlin confirms it — and I can never find it. This is the year!
Yes! I hope this is your year!
