Fairies Welcome

I don’t know what kind of mushroom this is – but it’s ok because I didn’t eat it!

I found it growing in the long, afternoon shade of the Ponderosa Pines – all alone, without others of its kind.

Perhaps a woodland fairy lives beneath it. One can always hope.
