A Face Only A Mama Can Love

Typically, baby animals are adorable. But, not all little ones make your heart melt.

Take, for example, the Purple Martin chicks.

It’s a good thing that their parents think the world of these little cherubs. They work hard to bring home the bacon – aka dragonflies. Yes, Purple Martin are known to hunt down dragonflies, as well as other insects.

Here are a few images of the resident Purple Martin parents tending to their “handsome” kids.

That last photo is probably the one that says “love” more than any other. Poop duty becomes a constant activity and when you don’t have opposable thumbs to handle objects, you need to use the same beak to eat and also do diaper duty! That’s gotta be love.
